The bargaining Council decided my case without holding a formal arbitration hearing. Is it fair in terms of the labour law? I have requested them in writing to send me the notice of hearing(Setdown) directly to me so that I could prepare myself and produce documents in defence of the case at the arbitration hearing. I informed the council about my new representative but they decided to continue with the old one (Union Representative). please advice
Hi, I to han a hearing at the ccma , sep 2013 and at the hearing commisoiner said I should settle, because my employer will argue that they did offer me Permanent employment but I refused, this after they terminated my contract saying "I can't do the job" but when the received my ccma application the offer the job came ?. So the commisoiner said I don't have a case and "advises" me to settle.
I settled but a friend told me I should have and I started searching the net for answers.
What can I do?
