My company is going through a restructure and they are pulling the product I'm meant to sell. They have started consultation with me and offered me an initial package and its on going discussions. I have given suggestions to keep me on which to are still to get back to me on. They have also sent a second letter with an enhanced offer of an additional months salary to the normal 30day notice, 1 weeks pay for every year worked and leave owed to me. They calling it a mutual separation agreement. My question is if I accept this can I still claim for UIF? Also can I still negotiate the offer?
