Hi. I have been recently told that my company wants me to transfer to another branch doing the same job. I have responded stating that I choose not too as my existing position is not being made redundant nor is there a restructure in the organization. The other position has been vacant and all they advise is that its a business requirement. It has same job title but less responsibilities and smaller portfolio of clients and seems like a demotion. Can they force me to move if they are not changing my salary, job title?
