I am hoping somebody can assist with this. If an employee has been working for a company for 5 years, and has handed in their notice of resignation, terminating at the end of October, 2015, does the employer need to pay the holiday pay, which is outstanding on the last day of employment? Or do they get a certain period in which to pay it.

Further what steps can be taken, should the employer not pay the holiday pay due, which is what the employee is expecting to happen?
