Last year 2 of my employee's were dismissed due to theft. I was taken to the CCma for unfair dismissal, which case the dismissed employee's lost.
I had a few temporary workers, but with no success. Eventually we came accross a person, which we thought was Godgiven, and has put him on probation for 3 months. It didn't work out and we asked him to leave on the 27th of January 2016. His probation period was from the 1st of November 2015 - 30th of January 2016.
This temporary worker has now gone to the CCMA. The correspondence we received from them states that Mr Manoheng will settle for R3000-00 which amount we can pay to him direct - we must forward proof to them that both parties have agreed, and there will be no further action taken.
In this period we had 3 meetings with the staff to try and sort out the differences. We could'nt, and ended then the probation period, for which period Mr Manoheng received full pay.
