Hearing put on hold
Permalink

I was charged with 4 Charges of misconduct.    Charges relate to breach of policy, gross negligence and these alleged incidents happened more than one year ago.

I attended the hearing and was represented by a fellow employee and the matter was postponed.   I was called in a separate meeting by the HR officials and was warned/ threatened against bring represented by the employee and that my association with her will result in a harsher hearing

At the next hearing I was told that the matter is being put on hold /abeyance and management will be in touch.   One persons hearing is going ahead, the other 2 entered into a plea bargain.

To date I have not heard anything despite asking for feedback.  I require my name cleared.

Please let me know if you can help me and how.

Perhaps refer the matter to the relevant bargaining council/CCMA if you are still suspended. One is entitled to fair disciplinary actions short of dismissal (and also to fair suspensions, should that be the case).
