I am currently 34 weeks pregnant and I plan on resigning at the end of March.
I have a two month notice period, so by contract I should finish at the end of May. However I have to go on maternity leave mid April seeing as my due date is 24 April.
So indirectly I would by mid April only have worked back 2 weeks of my 2 month notice period.
My question- can I finish the rest of my notice period upon my return back from maternity leave? I am willing to accept no payment from my company whilst on maternity leave in order to avoid having to pay back percentage paid to me by employer during maternity leave. ( we have stipulated in our contract a repayment should we resign before 4 months after returning from maternity leave)
