Good day Im retrenched without proper retrenchement procedure/consultation(section189(3)LRA). I was just been called to the office and issued with retrenchment letter. My former employer calls that a consultation as well. I took the matter to CCMA but was unsuccessful and its referred to labour court. Please advise as labour court will need a lawyer and i cant afford one

If you cannot afford an attorney I recommend you approach the Legal Practice Council in your area, you can call them or go to their offices. They will assign you an attorney that can assist you free of charge. Some of the lager firms assist members of the public for free these firms are Bowmans you can google these firms and contact them. 

It is very important to use an attorney in the Labour Court as the procedures are very stringent and are not easily navigated as a layman (person who does not know the law).
