Misconduct charges

Hi, I'm facing a disciplinary hearing on misconduct charges, I have a very good track record with the company but (in shame and embarrassment) I am guilty! Advisers has been telling me that I don't have to prove anything but yet I want to come clean, any advice as to how to go about handling this and showing my employer that I am really remorseful as I do expect to be dismissed but would rather be begging right now for them not to prosecute legal act and just start off on a clean slate, I realise that I have messed up but then again legal. Prosecution I wouldn't make through

My previous question is, do I lie? Will they be able to hold it against me in court should I come clean in disciplinary hearing, I'm just so confused as I want to do the right thing and tell the truth and be better but yet so scared also as I won't be able to afford good legal representation and could even come out worst which I do know right now will lead to my death as this internal disciplinary on itself has already taken a toll on me and don't know if I can face anything else

Hello

Well a lot will depend on what you have done. Disciplinary hearings don't often escalate into criminal hearings unless its something serious such as theft or fraud.

Generally speaking if you are guilty and you feel like they can prove your guilt then its best to come clean and tell the truth.

Hope this helps
