The father of my 2 children claims that he is currently unemployed and can therefore not pay any child maintenance. He did not inform me about losing his job, I had to make an enquiry when I did not receive the monthly maintenance amount which is deducted from his salary via Garnishee Order every month.

I have managed to confirm that he is no longer employed by the company that he was working for.

How do I go about determining whether he has started working for a new company so that I can put in a claim for the arrears and have the Garnishee Order moved? Or does the Child Maintenance Officer at the court have the resources to determine this?
